DEWALT blue steel taping knives and carbon steel putty knives are designed and manufactured using nearly 20-years of input from professional finishers. Taping knives feature premium blue steel blades and rigid anodized backplates that are wider and thicker than competitive models. Putty knives feature a precision hollow-grind that provides proper flex point midway up the carbon steel blades (versus near the handles). The blades feel nicely broken-in" from the first moment you use them. Comfortable, anti-slip soft-grip handles minimizes fatigue and are strengthened with glass-reinforced nylon cores. Each knife has a metal hammer end for resetting drywall nails. Set includes 32 in. and 13 in. professional mixers, a carbon steel 9-in-1 painter's knife, as well as a BONUS 14 in. stainless steel contoured mud pan.
